Contact[0]=["President","The President shall preside over all business and executive meetings of the club and have general supervision of the affairs of the club. The President shall maintain a current roster of all members in good standing. Responsibilities shall also include, appointing any person or committee as needed to handle the organization of activities or meetings and to oversee such person or committee for the duration. The President shall promote interest in the club by each current member and by others in hopes of gaining them as members. The President shall personally represent the club in all business dealings and contracts for the club and promote interest in the club and lead by example.  The President shall vote only when one vote is required to break a tie. The President shall be the second signer on all accounts, and shall be accountable to the Executive officers as a whole, and to the Vice-President individually for his/her actions and decisions. The President shall discuss with the Treasurer the impact on finances before any purchase exceeding $100 dollars. The President is responsible for the smooth and coherent operation of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Nashville."]

Growing up in the mountains of East Tennessee, he was on two wheels almost from the time he could walk.  Current rides are a 2004 R1150R and a 2006 FJR.  <br /><br />Danny is one of those sickos who really likes Iron Butt rides.  Last year’s riding included a Saddlesore 1,000 down and back on the Natchez Trace Parkway.  If you run into him at a rally there is a good chance you will see a cigar in his mouth.<br /><br />Danny is a real estate appraiser, and has been active in the profession locally, nationally and internationally.  He has chaired the Appraisal Standards Board in the United States, served on the International Valuation Standards Board, and taught appraisal classes throughout the world."]

Nancy is a retired school principal and Andy is a Certified Financial Planner. They have two children, Michael and Anna Beth. Michael is a scriptwriter and musician who lives in Los Angeles California and Anna Beth is a CPA finishing her second year of law school. Nancy and Andy have two Springer Spaniels. Andy's favorite hobby is, of course, motorcycling but he also enjoys the opera, playing music and target shooting. Nancy enjoys riding two up to rallys and on long trips."]

Contact[4]=["Secretary","The Secretary shall be responsible for taking and publishing the minutes of every meeting, taking the attendance of every function, and handling the &quot;treasury&quot; at each meeting. The Secretary is responsible for the 50/50 operations at each function, the door prize drawings, and the monies taken up for (when applicable) dinners, camping, pins, patches, decals, and any and all other club sales. The Secretary is also responsible for the bike raffle of the annual rally and is to account for each and every raffle ticket, the monies, and each person's sales of said raffle tickets. The Secretary shall send all monies, and an accounting, broken down by category, to the Treasurer, each month after the meeting and/or function. The Secretary is to be accountable to the President individually and the Executive Officers as a whole."]

Larry started riding at age 53 and hasn’t regretted it yet.  His current ride is a K1200RS.<br /><br /> Larry is primarily a touring rider.  He is the coordinator for the Club’s challenge ride.  His greatest ride to date is the AMA sanctioned USA Four Corners Tour completed in 2006.<br /><br /> Larry still has a place to go in the mornings (work).  He is an excess risk insurance underwriter.  When not working or riding Larry enjoys fishing and cooking."]
// Treasurer
Contact[6]=["Treasurer","The Treasurer shall be responsible for the finances of the club, receiving and dispersing all monies and keeping account of all receipts and expenditures. The Treasurer shall reconcile all monthly bank statements and keep all books and records in an orderly fashion. The Treasurer shall provide a monthly accounting to the President prior to the monthly meeting and at any other time by request of the President, or any club member in good standing. The Treasurer shall be the main signer on all club accounts and shall be responsible to the President individually and the Executive Officers as a whole. The Treasurer shall prepare all financial records and documentation needed, in a timely fashion, to be given to the &quot;outside&quot; accountant/tax preparer for the annual tax return to be completed. The Treasurer shall receive all new member applications and shall keep a current roster of all members in good standing, and provide all updates to the roster to the President, Newsletter Editor, and the Activities Director, as they occur. The Treasurer shall be responsible for receiving any pre-registrations and payments for such, for the annual rally, and keep that list until such time as the rally is in progress and those pre-registrants arrive. The Treasurer shall keep separate books on the annual rally with detailed accounting of all monies received and receipts and accounting for all monies dispersed. The Treasurer shall provide the President with a detailed financial report on the rally in the month after the rally is held. The Treasurer is to keep the historical records on membership and all club assets (ie: trailer, smokers, commercial cooking equipment, etc) and be able to provide those records as needed. The Treasurer shall be accountable to the President individually, the Executive officers as a whole, and the general population of the members in good standing, in that order."]

Contact[9]=["Lee Waggoner","<img src='images/officers/lee_waggoner.jpg' align='left' hspace='6'><p>Born December 9,1956 at St Thomas in Nashville.</p><p>First bike  1970 Yamaha Enduro 90  a demo purchased at Fat’s McCulloch at age 14</p><p>Yamaha was the brand, working the way up: a 250 Enduro, a 360 Enduro, a 250 something right before the YZs. Then first real road bike a hand- me down 1974 Kawasaki 900Z1  'fast bike'</p><p>School: H.G.Hill, Hillwood,  BGA 1975</p><p>Attended  UK Lexington and Nashville Tech</p><p>1977 - Bought 25 acres in  Hickman County on Mill Creek and started a log cabin</p><p>1979 - Moved to Hickman County with the Z1 and a Yamaha TT500 and a brand new Chevy 4wd pick-up truck. Took up Carpentry and evolved into cabinet and furniture making.  Waggoner’s Woodworking  est. 1983</p><p>1985 - Finally went to Boswell Harley Davidson which strangely enough had BMWs for sale. Test drove a R100RT then road the brand new K. After the Z1 the twin just felt under powered. Took home one of the first K100 RT’s. Not quite 30, felt like a wiser older person riding the BMW. Bought a Systems One helmet (my first full face) and never looked back. Started racking up the miles across the country. Ran into Buddy Burnett in Flagstaff at a MOA rally and he told me about the Nashville Club. Join up when Murray Loy was Pres.</p><p>1993 - bought what I thought was the last edition R100GSPD. from Bloodworth’s.</p><p>1997 - traded the 85 K with nearly a 100,000 miles on it  with Armando for a new K1100LT. Wanted the RS but the wife was envolved and Armando was there to please. Oh yea, got married in 93 to a ready made family of 1 girl and 3 boys age 2 to 8.</p><p>Single since 05</p>"]

Contact[10]=["Newsletter Editor","The Newsletter Editor shall gather or receive, meeting minutes, written articles, pictures and information on recent and future state and national club activities, from the members, committees, officers and directors, and any other sources available, and shall publish in a timely manner, the information needed by the members on upcoming events first, and recent activities second, always including the previous meeting minutes. The Editor also will use discretion to add any other information he/she deems relevant or of interest to the general membership. The Editor shall follow the written club policy on advertising if approached by anyone to place an ad in the newsletter. If the Editor receives questionable material to be published in the newsletter, he/she shall consult the President before making a decision to print. The Editor shall set their own deadline for input to the newsletter, but should put all possible efforts into making sure that the members receive their newsletter by the end of the second week of each month. (ie: two weeks after the previous meeting and/or two weeks prior to the upcoming meeting) The Editor will maintain a &quot;bank&quot; distributed by the Treasurer and turn in all expenditures for printing, postage, and materials used in producing the newsletter, to the Treasurer each month, to have the &quot;bank&quot; replenished. Upon leaving the position of Editor, the &quot;bank&quot; shall be returned to the Treasurer, after a final accounting of the expenditures of the Editors final issue."]

He went to the first BMW Club meeting in 1980 and I went to the second meeting with him, and have been involved in the BMW Club of Nashville, ever since. They named me Den Mother one year, and it stuck. I have been newsletter editor for several years, and the past two years, was President of the club. I never learned to drive a motorcycle but I really enjoyed the trips Carson and I took. I am still newsletter editor and enjoy being a part of this organization. I have three children, four grandchildren, and one great grandson, who is just two weeks old.  They all ride motorcycles, except of course the new one who is named Carson after his great grandpa."]

I had to sneak around to ride them because my parents threatened me with being grounded for life if I rode. When my friend Jim got a Honda 360 Scrambler, I thought I would never feel so much power on any other two wheeler no matter how long I lived.<br /><br />Two weeks after I turned 18, I bought a Suzuki 380. Dropped that one on the Dragon before I even knew that road was called the Dragon. My next 2 bikes were ‘73 Norton Street Commandos. The first one was eaten by a Buick Electra. The 2nd one I sold dirt cheap so that I could buy a Moto Guzzi 850t3.<br /><br />I had to live without a bike for about 20 years while raising the kids, then bought a k1200rs in Sept 2005 and love it.<br /><br />I live in Hermitage with my wife, mother-in-law, cockatiel, and the coolest black cat in the county.  I’ve got a daughter at MTSU and a son that works at Providence Mall until he is discovered as a rock guitarist."]
